He achieved multiple holes in one and, along with his son, Jeff, won the Father-Son State Championship in 1980. He would go on to win the Cherryland Open in Door County as well as the Senior Championship at Green Bay Country Club. Armin’s passion for golf was shared by the family and was a favorite pastime.

Armin and Jerry were fortunate to winter in Clearwater Beach, Florida, for many years and also had the opportunity to visit Hawaii, San Diego, Mexico and Las Vegas with friends. In later years, the family enjoyed time together in their Green Bay home.
