Ralph R. Prey Jr., 68, Oconto, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. Ralph was born Nov. 17, 1949, in Clintonville to the late Ralph and Lucille (Drake) Prey Sr. He married Sharon Ellie on Oct. 30, 1976. Ralph worked at Bond Pickle for eight years and as a crossing guard for the city for over 20 years.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Sharon Prey, Oconto; two sons, Thomas Prey, Oconto; Michael (Beth Bice) Prey, Oconto; six sisters, LaVerne (John) Burmeister, Shawano; Joanne (Jim) Prey, Shawano; Kay (Jerome) Babino, Oconto; Betty Gajewske, Brillion; Barbara (Bob) Bohart, Shawano; Jeanette (Dave) Habeck, Shawano; three brothers, Eddie (Helen) Prey, Wisconsin Rapids; Gary (Robin) Prey, Shawano; Jim (Jeanie) Prey, Shawano; a sister-in-law, Milie Prey, Tigerton; four grandchildren, Alyssa, Aiden “Butchy,” Kevin and Kyle Prey.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marilyn Prey, Sandy DeBroux; a brother, Roger Prey; a sister-in-law, Joanne Prey; and a brother-in-law, Jerry Gajewske.
The family received relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018. Memorial services were conducted 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Craig Alwin officiating. Visitation continued after the service until 8 p.m.
