Christine C. Ermis, 38, of Mountain, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019. Christine was born on Aug. 18, 1980, to Kenneth Sr. and Johanna (DeCleene) Ermis in Milwaukee. For many years, Christine served as the town clerk and treasurer for Doty. She also served as the deputy town clerk and treasurer for Mountain. Christine loved to play pool and horseshoes, shoot darts, spend time with family and friends and watch sports, including the Packers, Badgers, Brewers and Bucks.
Christine is survived by her parents, Ken and Johanna; three siblings, Lynn (Dave) Kauzlaric, Ken (Dawn) Ermis Jr., and Peter (Kasey) Ermis; grandmother, Martha DeCleene; aunts and uncles, Arleen Beyma, Donna (Larry) Marinello, Joseph (Kathy) DeCleene, John (Lorretta) DeCleene, Liz Schott, Marie (Jim) Ackmann, Rose (Isaac) Jackson, Vince (Rhonda) DeCleene, Ted (Sandy) DeCleene, Theresa (Paul) LeBreck, Matthew (Vicky) DeCleene, and Mark (Tina) DeCleene; great-aunts and great-uncles, Duane (Carol) Heisler, Elaine (Bob) Rosner, Theresa Devroy, and Rose DeCleene; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Noah) Ball, Josh (Charissa) Steppe, Jonny Steppe, Jacob (Lisa) Steppe, Koren Poradek, Bernie Poradek, David Kauzlaric, Andrew Kauzlaric, Jager Eisch, and Quinn Eisch; great-nieces and great-nephews, Elaina Ball, Emmett Steppe, Lincoln Steppe, Lily Steppe, Melanie Steppe, Allison Kauzlaric, Mugan Poradek, Finley Poradek, and Aiden Shepard. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph DeCleene, Peter and Phyllis Anderson; aunt, Ann (Tim) Grabowski; uncles, Richard Beyma and Gary Schott; and cousin, Huntzie Beyma.
A celebration of life will be held for Christine on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019, at Skinny Dave’s in Mountain at 1 p.m.
